周到的学生服务系统

我们有经验丰富的学生服务团队，提供全面周到的学生服务，让所有学生能在愉快、安全、舒适的环境中生活。 这一服务团队包括：

• 训练有素的咨询人员 
• 会说学生母语的辅导员 
• 学院的医疗卫生员 
• 宿舍的管理老师(每13名学生配备1名老师管理)

顺利过渡

来到一个新城市新学院学习生活不是一件容易的事。 我们凭借多年的接待国际学生的经验，很擅长帮助新学生尽快了解、适应环境，完成平稳过渡。我们的一系列举措包括：

• 在学生到达之前让学生充分了解：住宿安排情况，学习课程情况，开学时间，课程表等等信息。
• 学生刚到达后协助学生联系父母
• 给学生一个小的欢迎仪式，并且带学生在校园参观，向学生介绍辅导老师等。
• 校内明示的各个教室的位置
• 通过组织一套好的课外活动，帮助学生尽快交新朋友。

了解学生

我们期望我们的新生入学工作能让学生很快完成从家到学校的适应过程，但是我们对学生的照顾和关注不止停留在刚入学的头几天。

在你和我们在一起的期间，我们会与学生密切联系，以保证我们彻底了解学生，与学生共享成功，并帮助学生排忧解难。 

为实现这一切，我们将提供入学服务：

• 每日辅导老师与学生见面，了解学生课业进度，帮助解决随时出现的问题
• 与学生的家长和监护人保持频繁联络，时常交流
• 我们在应对学生特殊学习需求方面有专门经验，比如那些诵读困难的学生
• 通过经常性监控和联络交流，迅速发现问题
• 24小时紧急联络电话服务。

针对国际学生，我们还提供以下的服务：

• 机场接送服务(如果要求)
• 学生零花钱管理服务
• 签证延期
• 警察局登记
• 当地医疗注册
• 宗教或文化团体的信息。

在到达前请一定详细阅读 入学行前信息。

父母的顾虑

学院有详细的规章制度，针对青少年保护，健康和安全以及不当行为方面的问题的处理，以及对于学生行为、纪律方面的奖惩制度的等。这些信息在《学生手册》中都有提供，希望学生进行详细了解。 

虽然我们不希望有这样情况发生，但是如果家长需要，在我们的家长手册里面有详细的有关投诉的政策和措施，以及联系方法。

特殊教育需求

学院可以接收有特殊教育需求的学生，前提是学生需要接受我们的专业评估以便我们提供适合学生的相应教育措施。

Provision is made for students who have a statement of needs and their statements will be met and monitored by our Pastoral Manager and Additional Learning Support staff. Regular information will be sent to parents, and there will be an annual review. Regular meetings will take place along with full liaison with the local authority. Statements, plans and review documentation will all be available to parents
