This new programme, designed for focused, high-achieving students, consists of a rigorous four week intensive pre-sessional programme, followed by one academic year of Fast-track A Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Physics (or Maths).
Throughout the course students will also benefit from weekly two hour seminars, covering essential medical issues, as well as presentation and interview training and developing their critical thinking skills in preparation for university selection processes.
Higher Education Advice and Guidance
The Medics Programme Leader oversees all students on the programme, providing complete support. University guidance and applications are tailored to each individual’s particular strengths and career goals thus giving them the best chance of success.
UCAS applications, personal statements, university visits and careers fairs enhance CATS College Medics students applications, as well as rigorous BMAT/UKCAT examination preparation.
All Medics students will undertake a series of work experience and volunteer placements.
