CATS College - visits and trips

Today, top universities look for more than just good exam results and academic potential.

To succeed, a student must be able to demonstrate qualities of self-reliance, leadership and teamwork - skills that are often gained outside of the classroom and developed through extra-curricular activities.

CATS College students are able to take advantage of a full range of opportunities to visit centres of excellence in the Sciences, Humanities and Arts and to network with some of the world's leading academics.

Our students also engage in activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh Scheme, the Mini United Nations which takes place at the Hague and to undertake expeditions to places such as Ecuador to work alongside local communities.

These experiences allow students to relate to the theory taught in class and develop the skills most prized by universities through activities that engage them the most.

The most prized students can show more than outstanding academic grades and these opportunities enhance personal statements and university applications so students can stand out in a competitive crowd.

Our students

"All of us participating felt proud to take first place for our school. Obviously, winning was a great feeling, especially because we were competing against some strong competition. It took a lot of effort, but it was fun and I enjoyed it."

- Florinda Egra, winner of the University of Cambridge Economics competition

"The experience was delightful, as it encouraged both team work and individual thinking. I have to say 100% of our success is because of our economics lessons and our tutor. The theory we learnt in school helped us make important decisions that obviously led us towards winning the game"

- Anisa Lulo, winner of the University of Cambridge Economics competition
