University Foundation: one year fast-track

University Foundation is ideal for...

Students aged 17+ who want a one-year fast track to University. This programme offers guaranteed progression to a wide choice of Universities on completion of the course.

In 1985 we revolutionised private education by opening the UK's first foundation programme. In 2010 we are celebrated 25 years of success, with almost 50% of Foundation students receiving offers from Times Top 20 Universities.

  • 3-4 subjects studied over one year, including English and Mathematics.
  • Assessment takes place via coursework, externally moderated examinations and IELTS.
  • Guaranteed progression to University on successful completion of the programme.
  • Flexible programme with a range of subject options and pathways.
  • Not suitable for medicine / veterinary career paths.
  • Extended option available for students with a lower English language level.

The University Foundation is a one year programme for international students that ensures you meet the entry requirements for a UK university degree course.

It is one of our most popular programmes and for those students who successfully complete the course, we can guarantee a university place at one of our partner universities.

The Foundation provides a bridge between international high school and study at a UK university. You receive a good grounding in your chosen subjects, as well as learning study skills and research methods that you will need at university.
