Обустройство на новом месте

Начало обучения в другой школе и жизни в другом городе может вызывать страх и беспокойство. У нас есть опыт теплого приема новых учащихся и легкое ориентирование. Процесс встречи включает в себя:

• хорошую коммуникацию перед прибытием – с подробностями о вашем проживании, учебной программе, датах начала и расписании
• возможность связаться с родителями по прибытии
• теплый прием, экскурсия по территории колледжа, представление личного куратора
• четкая схема расположения классов в школе
• хорошая программа внеучебной деятельности, чтобы вы быстро нашли друзей.

Знакомство с вами

Надеемся, что наш процесс встречи сразу же позволит вам «встроиться» в обучение, но при этом мы заинтересованы и в том, чтобы ваше благополучие не закончилось после первых нескольких дней!

На протяжении всего времени вашего пребывания мы будем поддерживать тесную связь, стараясь хорошо вас узнать. Мы будем радоваться вашим успехам и предоставлять конфиденциальную помощь в случае каких-либо проблем.

Это достигается следующим образом:

• регулярное общение с родителями и опекунами
• опыт удовлетворения особых требований в процессе обучения, например, при дислексии
• проблемы быстро определяются в ходе постоянного наблюдения и контакта
• круглосуточная помощь при чрезвычайных ситуациях

Иностранным студентам мы также помогаем в следующем:

• трансферы в аэропорт / из аэропорта (по запросу)
• банковское обслуживание и карманные деньги
• продление визы
• регистрация в полиции
• регистрация у врача
• советы по поводу местных религиозных и культурных организаций.

Parental concerns

The college has detailed policies relating to bullying, child protection, health and safety, the promotion of good behaviour, and sanctions adopted in the event of pupils misbehaving and you may ask to read such policies and codes of conduct as contained in our Student Handbook.

Whilst we hope a very rare occurrence, our Parental Concerns Leaflet provides contact details and information on the College Complaints Policy and Procedures.

Information regarding the number of complaints lodged can be found here.

In the past academic year we have had no parental complaints that have led to a panel hearing.

Additional Educational Needs

The College accepts students with Additional Educational Needs subject to receiving professional evaluation in order to ensure that appropriate provision can be made for the student.

Provision is made for students who have a statement of needs and their statements will be met and monitored by our Pastoral Manager and Additional Learning Support staff. Regular information will be sent to parents, and there will be an annual review. Regular meetings will take place along with full liaison with the local authority. Statements, plans and review documentation will all be available to parents
